Latest reports seem to indicate that the LG company has plans to roll out a mini version of its flagship G6 handset, and will be dubbed the LG G6 mini. Reports now suggest that the LG G6 mini might carry the name LG Q6 smartphone alongside with specs and features that are yet to be confirmed. The LG Q6 will be launched with a smaller 5.4-inch screen than the 5.7-inch of LG G6.

LG Q6 sports an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and a single 13MP rear camera

Speculations about the so-called mini version started in April when Techno Buffalo claimed that the tech company is gearing up to shell out the mentioned render.

However, famous tech tipster Evan Blass has claimed that LG’s upcoming mobile device will be unveiled as the LG Q6. The prolific tipster has also added that the handset was recently spotted on FCC carrying the model number M700. The device also sports an 18.5:9 aspect ratio just like the Samsung’s Galaxy S8 Plus. Blass claimed that the LG G6 Mini or LG Q6 will sport a single 13MP rear snapper as well as a 3GB of RAM.

Nonetheless, the South Korean multinational electronics company is yet to reveal the official specs of the yet to be released mobile device. If reports are anything to go by, the handset is believed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. LG’s upcoming mobile device will sport a 5.4-inch display along with an 80 percent screen to body ratio.

The upcoming smartphone will arrive with the 3.5 mm audio jack and is likely to be located on top of the handset. Both the power and volume buttons will be etched on the mobile device’s left edge, while the USB Type-C port will be engraved at the bottom. In terms of the camera specs, though it is believed that the LG Q6 will arrive with a single rear snapper, but some reports claimed that it could be available with a dual rear shooter just like its bigger sibling.

LG G6 Android smartphone new color

On the other hand, the LG G6 Android smartphone, which was announced back at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event, is available in just a couple of colors. But, the tech giant has taken the wraps off of the device’s brand new color, Gold Amber. The Gold Amber color has appeared on LG’s website, but there hasn’t been an official announcement of the new color just yet.

The LG G6 in Gold Amber keeps the black front, but the sides and back of the smartphone are in gold.

That being said, smartphone manufacturers typically launch new colors a few months after the handset has been announced, to help boost some more sales and promotion around the product. While the new color don’t normally rolls out to the U.S., the new color variant does come to other markets.
