huawei Mate 10 smartphone will launch within the next few days. According to Phoneradar, the flagship handset will unveil during the side lines of the upcoming IFA 2017. The latest news is that the Richard Yu, the Ceo of Huawei's consumer division has revealed to Bloomberg that the Huawei Mate 10 will ship with a full-screen bezel-less display, enhanced camera, and improved battery.

Addition of high capacity sensors

During the interview with the news publication, Yu also disclosed that the camera will have high capacity sensors than the currently available Mate 9 handset.

However, he reiterated the fact the company will not venture into the manufacturing of budget-friendly handsets. Going forward, the company will only manufacture premium flagship handsets. The budget segment is currently handled by Honor, which is the subsidiary of Huawei. Meanwhile, the CEO also said that the forthcoming phone will ship with long lasting batteries.

Likely release in October

The company will most likely launch the Mate 10 phone around the time when Apple release the much-awaited iPhone 8. If the company indeed release the new handset in October, it will prove as a strong competitor for the iPhone 8, Google Pixel 2 and also the Samsung Galaxy S9 series expected to hit the retail shelves around February 2018.

Integration of Android Oreo

The Huawei Mate 10 will ship with a 6-inch FHD narrow display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Talking about the internals, the smartphone will feature a Kirin 970 processor, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage loaded with Android Nougat. If Google releases Android Oreo, there is also a possibility of the phone to ship with the new platform.

If Android O is integrated, then it will provide as a tough competitor for Google Pixel 2.

Based on reports from Weibo, the Mate 10 phone will be equipped with a Leica-enabled dual-lens selfie snapper paired with 3D face recognition capability in addition to Iris scanner. Samsung is also planning to infuse the scanner into the Galaxy Note 8 handset, which will launch on August 23.

There is also a possibility for the addition of a Huawei P10 inherited dual rear camera system.

In addition to the above-mentioned features, the Huawei Mat 10 will probably feature a refreshed UI, water-resistant design, including tight integration with Amazon Alexa and Daydream VR technology.

The flagship smartphone segment is very expensive and most of the handsets are priced above $600. We expect Huawei to drop the pricing of the phone between $450 to $500 to make a strong push in the competitive world.
