drones define the future of photography and videography. Image and video capturing have evolved from just using one’s arm to having better coverage by using the selfie stick. Now, drones hover and fly so high, almost anything surrounding the subject can be captured with the finest and crispest of details.

Since the inception of drone usage years back, different manufacturers have come up with their own offering. However, one has emerged consistently successful over the years. It is the pride of China, Da-Jiang Innovations Science and Technology Co.

or more popularly known as DJI!

DJI has undeniably conquered and dominated the drone segment. This becomes even more evident because of the Dji Phantom 4 Pro. Since last year, it has been a favorite of photographers and video enthusiasts. It defies the capacity of a drone. For most, it is considered cutting-edge.

Why is it cutting edge?

Sensors, sensors, sensors! DJI Phantom 4 Pro has enhanced sensors for better and improved obstacle avoidance and almost independent flight modes. It comes solid with a pair of rear-vision sensors and two Time of Flight range imaging cameras.

Such sensor technology makes the Phantom 4 Pro possess “eyes of a fly.” It can practically see everything around it. Worried that it may just come crashing down for hitting power lines and tree branches?

Nope, that won’t be an issue with the P4 Pro.

Aside from its sensors, the P4 Pro has an enhanced camera. It boasts of a 1-inch, 20-megapixel image sensor. This is way better than the usual 1.2/3-inch 12-megapixel found in other drones. It supports 4K recording at 60p. It is able to encode in either H.264 and H.265.

The lens is state-of-the-art for having a narrower 84-degree wide-angle lens.

It also has mechanical shutter to lessen the rolling shutter distortion.

It is easy to understand why the DJI Phantom 4 Pro was one of the hottest gadgets for last year’s Black Friday sale. The DJI drones were offered from $369 to $999 in various establishments. There were also drones offered for kids such as Sharper Image Drone for only $30.

Clearly, drones are in and demand is high!

Is the P4 Pro the best drone there is?

Yes! So far, no other drone has come close to what this DJI drone can do. Its enhanced camera and cutting-edge sensor technology are tough to beat. Many rumors have been circulating on DJI coming up with Phantom 5 but none of those are confirmed. All are mere speculations. At present, DJI Phantom 4 Pro is the “King of drones” and it may be that case for a good while.
