Samsung is busy with the impending launch of its Note 8, which will be the successor to the now defunct Note 7. However, even amid such a busy schedule, the company seems to have come up with a Special Edition for its Galaxy S8+ device. A leaked image indicates that the South Korean company has designed a special Galaxy S8+, based on the themes and colors of the Inter Milan soccer team.

Galaxy S8+ special edition sporting Inter Milan colors

The leak originated from Twitter and reveals what appears to be an authentic Inter Milan special edition of the premium handset.

The image showcases the hard cover for the device, which sits atop a Galaxy S8+ box. The cover sports the signature blue and black design similar to the soccer club’s jersey and also sports the official logo of the team. Near the bottom, the words “Designed for Galaxy S8+” can be seen printed.

The box of the device also sports the Inter Milan logo. The left hand surface of the box reveals the website address of Suning Holdings Group, a Chinese firm which is the majority shareholder of the Inter Milan club.

If the leaked image is authentic, this Inter Milan edition will not be the first sports-related special edition released by Samsung. The company had also designed an Olympic Games Limited Edition for its Galaxy S7 edge in commemoration of the event, which was held in Rio, Brazil.

No information has been revealed regarding the launch and release of this Inter Milan themed Galaxy S8+ device. It is also not known exactly how many units of this special edition would be manufactured by the company. However, the specs of the device will likely be the same as that of the standard Galaxy S8+ smartphone.

It remains to be seen when the company makes the announcement of the Inter Milan edition of the premium handset.
