Hmd Global-backed nokia has been making a lot of headlines lately. Several reports regarding Nokia’s future plans as far as the smartphone sector is concerned, has pretty much been driving the fans crazy with anticipation. After taking the wraps off its mid-budget range — Nokia 3, 5 and 6 smartphones — the Finnish tech-giant is all prepared to introduce one of its high-end smartphone dubbed ‘Nokia 9’ smartphone. Now, a new report that surfaced online recently seems to be carrying FCC listings regarding the Nokia 9 smartphone has indicated the key features of the upcoming smartphone.

Nokia 9 speculated specs and features

The heavily-speculated upcoming Nokia smartphone was recently spotted on the Federal Communications Commissions’ and Geekbench’s websites. The listing on both the platforms has pretty much given away the upcoming features of the Nokia's smartphone. If this report is believed to be true, then it appears like the Nokia 9 device is going to come packed with a higher Ram, and enhanced cameras. The United States Federal Communications Commissions document was first spotted by NokiaMob.net. The information first of all, clarified that the upcoming Nokia-branded smartphone is going to solely be owned by HMD Global. The latter has apparently requested Nokia to transfer all the test results and permits of the smartphone.

The upcoming Nokia 9 smartphone — with model number, TA-1004 — was initially believed to sport 4GB of RAM. However, the newest model — TA -1012 — which is also believed to be the Nokia 9 shows that the device will come packed with a 6GB RAM option.

The document further goes on to indicate that Nokia is planning on marketing the rumored smartphone earlier then expected.

However, this comes across as quite contrary to the reports that suggested that HMD Global will not be changing any decisions on the basis of test results or any other such activity. For now, it appears like the Nokia 9 smartphone is going to either sport 6GB of RAM or may even opt for an upgrade of 8GB of RAM.

A power-packed device

The previous leaks have suggested that the Nokia 9 smartphone is going to come packed with a 5.5-inch QHD display and is also going to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC. On the camera front, the Nokia 9 smartphone may flaunt a 13MP dual rear camera set up with support for dual LED flash as well. Apart from that, the Nokia's upcoming smartphone is also going to come packed with a 13MP front snapper. Offering 64GB of internal storage, the device will also offer users to expand the internal storage through its microSD card slot option.
