Apple has announced the launch of all the new Ipad Pro with 10.5-inch display in silver, gold, space gray, and rose gold color variants at the WWDC 2017. The tablet offers thin 40 percent decreased invisible borders and measures one pound in weight. The new iPad Pro will be loaded with iOS 11 with a wide range of new features than the currently available iOS 10.

As the name suggests, the iPad Pro features a 10.5-inch Retina display (2224x1668, 264 PPI) with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Moreover, the display is enhanced with ProMotion technology, which enables one to scroll smoothly alongside improved display rendering even in a low-light environment.

The main highlight of the display is the addition of an anti-reflective coating coupled with True Tone feature.

Specifications

Powered by an Apple A10X Fusion processor, the iPad Pro provides 30 percent improved performance. Moreover, the tablet comes with integrated M10 graphics, which is capable of 40 percent enhanced performance. You will be able to capture 4K videos at 30 fps with an automated body and face detection including noise reduction capabilities.

On the optics front, the new iPad Pro features a 12MP rear camera with OIS support coupled with a 7MP FaceTime HD camera sensor. In addition to Wi-Fi, integrated Apple SIM and 4G LTE Advanced technologies, the new iPad delivers audio through a four-speaker audio system.

The newly launched iPad Pro is powered by an integrated 30.4-watt-hour rechargeable battery, which is capable of delivering up to 10 hours of web browsing via Wi-Fi.

iOS 11 features

The 10-5-inch model of iPad Pro, released at WWDC 2017 also comes pre-loaded with iOS 11, which includes a new customizable Dock, enhanced multitasking, refreshed app switcher, new Files app.

Moreover, the new iOS platform also provides support for multi-touch drag and drop, notes document scanner, Apple Pencil integration including Instant Notes app. The addition of Apple Pay support is a big bonus since it enables you to pay for various goods and services from within apps.

Pricing

The 10.5-inch iPad Pro with 64GB storage is priced at $649 for the Wi-Fi model and $779 for the mobile version.

While the 256GB storage model is priced at $749, the 512GB variant is available for $949 for the Wi-Fi model. When it comes to the 4G LTE version, the 256GB and 512GB editions of the iPad Pro is priced at $879 and $1079 respectively.

At the WWDC 2017, Apple also announced the availability of the AppleCare+ for $99. The official product page states that the new iPad will start shipping within five business days from the order placement date. Additionally, you can order a full-sized Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil for $159 and $99 respectively.
