Samsung has already enjoyed a with a lot of attention this year, all thanks to the launch of the super Android smartphone – Galaxy S8.

Now, the South Korean tech giant is concentrating on the wallet-friendly Android range for budget conscious consumers -- the much-talked about J series. The rumored Galaxy J3 (2017) has been the talk of the tech town recently, and now the device has been spotted in the wild at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) – meaning the official launch is near.

While Samsung is yet to make an official announcement about the existence of the smartphone, a lot has been leaked regarding the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J3(2017) in the past couple of months.

The latest visit to FCC has revealed that Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) will come not in one but two variants. As FCC has granted approval to two variants of J3 (2017) – codenamed – Samsung SM-J330F and SM-J330DS.

Reportedly, the Samsung SM-J330F will be a single SIM smartphone, while SM-J330DS will be a dual SIM. This will be the only difference between both the variants, while all other specs will be same. The two versions of Galaxy J3 (2017) will come packed with the latest version of Google’s operating system, the Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphones are expected to come clocked with 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor, along with 2GB of RAM, 12MP/5MP rear/front camera, 16GB expandable storage and 5-inch HD screen display.

Right now, these are the only details that could be offered to the Samsung fans, but there’s one more piece of information which you need to know. If rumors are to be believed, Samsung is also working on two other mid-priced phones -- the Galaxy J5(2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017).

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has already been reported to receive Bluetooth certification with version 4.1 from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), and the handset was last spotted on GFXBench benchmarking website with the codename SM-J730.

As per numerous reports, the upcoming J7 smartphone is said to sport a 5.5-inch FHD display with 1080p resolution, along with Snapdragon 425 SoC/Samsung Exynos 7870 chipset paired with 2GB RAM, 8MP/5MP rear/front camera, Android Nougat and 3,000 mAh battery.

On the other hand, Galaxy J5 is expected to come clocked with Snapdragon 425 SoC/Samsung Exynos 7870 chipset along with 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, 13MP/5MP rear/front camera, Android Nougat out-of-box and more.
