Lenovo is said to be working on many smartphones including the Moto Z2 Play, Moto E4, Moto G5S, and more. Various leaks of the Moto E4 and its bigger sibling, the Moto E4 Plus, have been circling the smartphone space for several weeks. The latest leak reveals the expected specs of the Moto E4.

The bigger of the two handsets was spotted on FCC, which means that Motorola is planning to launch the duo sooner rather than later in the United States. New speculations suggest that the upcoming phones will hit the shelves in mid-July. However, Lenovo has not confirmed any details.

Leaked specs of the Moto E4

If the latest leak is to be believed, then the smaller Motorola phone will sport a 5-inch screen with a display resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The screen will be protected with Gorilla Glass 3. Rumors also point that the mobile phone will come running on a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.25 GHz.

The smartphone is estimated to include 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Many customers may not find the storage capacity sufficient to store media files such as music, videos, and more. However, they should not worry as the phone will have microSD card support, which will let owners expand storage capacity by an additional 128 GB.

Camera capabilities of smartphones have become very important for many customers.

The Moto E4 is said to be equipped with an 8-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. Selfie lovers will find a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on the upcoming Motorola smartphone.

The handset could include a removable 2,800 mAh battery for long-lasting usage. The Moto E4 is highly likely to include a 3.5 mm audio jack to enable owners to enjoy music on-the-go.

Most of the new smartphones run on Google's latest mobile operating system Android Nougat. Rumors suggest that both the Moto devices could come with Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

Price and availability of the device

Price can play a major role as a slew of pocket-friendly devices are available in the market. Motorola has not revealed any details of the upcoming phones, but rumors suggest that the smaller model could be available in the United States for $200.

The Moto E4 may hit the shelves in mid-July. Although, rumors have hinted at an expected release date and prices for the Motorola devices in Canada, it is likely that these smartphones will also hit the shelves sooner than anticipated.
