Should you buy the older-gen handset or Galaxy S8?

New flagships normally cause a big hype among smartphone enthusiasts and the same has happened for the Galaxy S8. Although the new flagship is packed with top-end features, its predecessor also includes high-end features attractive enough to lure many users. Both the phones have high-quality processors, 4GB of RAM, fingerprint sensor, and more.

The new Samsung phone has a price tag of over $700. Best Buy's deal makes the price difference between the 2016 flagship and the new flagship to about $280. It is likely that the lower price point may encourage many customers to buy the predecessors instead. Those looking to save some money will likely gravitate toward the older Samsung smartphones.
