Atelier Series 20th Anniversary is coming soon. Koei Tecmo and Gust launched the official website to commemorate the event including some latest announcements to keep fans updated. It has been 20 years ever since the first Atelier series game was released on the PlayStation One console – the first Atelier series game was entitled "Atelier Marie." The game wasn't just simple but also addictive, because players had to keep track of quests and gathering points to gain money in the game. Other than that, they needed to strengthen their party as well to decrease risks of being defeated.

A defeat in Atelier games leads to game over and unsaved progress will really cause problems on the player's part. That is the reason why players should save before they venture into dungeons, caves, gathering points, and forests to prevent regrets later on. Atelier series games are played on numerous consoles throughout the year, including PlayStation One, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and the PC.

Several plans for the upcoming anniversary

The upcoming Atelier Series 20th Anniversary is already planned accordingly. The anniversary will have the following events, according to sources: first, an anniversary Commemoration Presentation will take place and its details will still be announced.

Second, a special concert will take place at Toyosu PIT on July 9. Third, a Premium Medal Charm Set will be available at the Gust Shop website for purchase.

The Atelier Quest Board Event will present Atelier series characters one by one. This will surely bring back memories of the game including the personalities of the characters throughout the years.

In addition, there will be a collaboration campaign between the Atelier 20th Anniversary and Daikoukai Jidai V: Endless Ocean, which will begin on April 28.

The teaser that was released back then

Last month, a teaser was released to remind fans of the upcoming anniversary. Here is the trailer below from Gematsu on YouTube that was recorded during a live stream with Koei Tecmo and Gust:

The trailer shows the evolution of the Atelier games, starting from the very first to the very latest "Atelier Firis." As the video revealed nostalgia and memories, the scenes, events, and gameplays that were carved on the hearts of players will never be forgotten. For now, Koei Tecmo and Gust will make specific announcements in the future, regarding the events during their Atelier Series 20th Anniversary.
