Just days before the official unveiling of the new smartphones, two videos showing a working samsung galaxy S8 and S8 Plus was leaked on YouTube on Monday, 27th February 2017.

The two videos that have already been viewed by millions of Samsung Galaxy fans all over the world, clearly indicates what can be expected from the latest smartphone.

New phones are slightly curved

The video that is posted on YouTube shows the new models are slightly curved in design. They have a bezel-less display similar to what the S7 Edge has. The video clearly indicates that this version does not support the soft touch buttons that were an integral part of the previous versions of Galaxy phones.

Official date of unveiling is on 29th March 2017

According to the official confirmation received from Samsung, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be officially unveiled on March 29th, 2017 and Samsung is going to live stream the event on their official website so that millions of people can view the event.

Just a few days back, the leaked footage showed that the smartphone is 5.8 inches and has no physical buttons. A few images that were leaked online showed the 5.8 inch S8 and 6.2 inch S8 Plus. Both the handsets were on “always-on display” mode in the leaked images.

YouTube video impresses fans

The latest video of both the new Samsung posted on YouTube have already impressed Galaxy phone fans. The video suggests that both the smartphones will have thin bezels at the top and bottom.

The curved edge screen of the phones just melts into the sides, giving it a great, sleek look. According to the video, both have standard headphone ports of 3.5mm and a USB type C port for quick charging and easy data transfer.

Both smartphones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and work on Android 7.0 and have 4GB of RAM.

It will also have a 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera for a better quality selfie.
