Samsung Chromebook Pro is expected to be available in retail stores in the United States starting April 2017. Launched at CES 2017, the laptop will be a game changer because of the integration of Google Play Store. Expected to be loaded with a new variant of Chrome operating system, the upcoming laptop will have access to Google Play Store to enable you to install all the apps. Meanwhile, Samsung Chromebook Plus will start shipping from the first week of March. According to Samsung insiders, the new laptops have been completely designed from scratch to satisfy the requirements of mobile users.

New Chromebook will have access to Google Play Store

The search-engine giant has been looking at the possibility of merging Android mobile platform with the Chrome for a very long time. The main reason for the move is to enable existing Android users to leverage the advantage of a vast number of apps on the Play Store. At the Google's I/O 2016 conference, Kan Liu, Chrome OS director disclosed that the apps available on the Google Play Store would be posted on the Chrome platform.

Digital pen changes the way you write

The Samsung Chromebook Plus and Chromebook Pro will ship with an integrated digital pen for writing notes and drawing purposes. Moreover, the display is designed in a convertible way to enable you to work with it both as a tablet and a laptop.

The company added that the Chromebook is manufactured after research and innovation. When you would like to work, you can switch to laptop mode. The tablet mode will be useful for people who are on the go.

Google also integrated an enhanced technology named assistive for the purpose of visually challenged customers. The laptops will ship with ChromeVox screen reader to enable users to work with various functions such as selection and navigation quickly.

Furthermore, real-time status about the display will be available to all users. The laptop will also have modules to track the app usage and consumption.

By introducing a 2-in-1 Chromebook, Samsung has invaded the territory of Microsoft. The Surface Pro tablet can be used only as a tablet. However, if you would like to use it as a laptop, you need to dock the display with an external keyboard type cover.

In the case of Chromebook, you need have to carry any keyboard since users will have a capability to rotate the display.

Moreover, the display is prone to reflections if it is docked with the keyboard separately. The idea of Samsung is an excellent move to tap not only mobile-friendly users but also the general community. Furthermore, the integration of Play Store into a laptop will prove rich dividends in the long term.
