The latest leak about the game came from a retailer from the UK who posted the price and the potential PS4 and Xbox One release date online.
Release date and price
Base, a retailer in the U.K. is promoting “Red Dead Redemption 2” with a September 26 release window and a £44.99 or $55 release price. Although Rockstar did not officially confirm the leak, it is by far the most interesting and convincing speculation.
It can be recalled that the game developer confirmed that “RDR2” would be released in autumn of 2017. For one, the posted date corresponds to the official date given. Aside from that, most blockbuster and triple A games traditionally launch on a Tuesday. Surprisingly, the leaked date is also a Tuesday. Games either get a release date earlier in the U.K. and get released soon after in the U.S. and vice versa.
Other leaks
Another popular personality credited for his accuracy in predicting vital details about “GTA 5 Online’s” forthcoming updates recently dropped another bomb. This time, the Redditor claimed that “RDR2” would have striking similarities with the fan-favorite “Grand Theft Auto 5.”
According to him, “RDR2” will be a single player story, with an open world approach.
In addition, he said that there would be stranger events and gang hideouts in the upcoming game. The leaker pointed out that the upcoming game would have three playable members of John's former gang. He further added that John would not be a playable character.
'GTA 5' Mod
Meanwhile, for fans who are itching to get their hands on the upcoming “Red Dead Redemption 2” game, they can enjoy it on “Grand Theft Auto 5.” Currently, there is a mod in the game titled “Red Dead Redemption V.” The latest single player mod will be available on the PC version of “GTA 5.”
The plans of bringing the entire Red map to the game will launch more content later on. Fans can expect more graphical enhancements and updates. The mod will be available in its beta form this summer with a download size of approximately 2GB.
