Cyberpunk 2077 is the next video game set to come from developer CD Projekt RED, the guys behind The Witcher series of video games. Not much is known about Cyberpunk 2077 right now because the developers are keeping the information close to its chest.

What we do know is that the game was initially announced over three years ago in January 2013, but CD Projekt RED felt it jumped the gun. We also know it’s an action RPG, set in the year 2077, so players should not expect something along the lines of The Witcher.

Riding Around In Vehicles

A recent job posting has shown that CD Projekt RED proves that this game will be big on vehicles.

The developer is looking for “a talented Gameplay Programmer” for the purpose of developing vehicle-based code, and also the physics for driving or flying these vehicles.

“CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a talented Gameplay Programmer to join our outstanding team in Warsaw. The person in this position will cooperate with Gameplay & Level Designers teams to create the whole architecture of vehicle-related code, and the physics of driving/flying in those vehicles. It will involve C++ coding as well scripting skills," according to the job listing posted on the company's website website

Basically what we see here is that Cyberpunk 2077 will consist of both ground and flying vehicles traversing the world, and players will have the option to take advantage of them.

That’s rather interesting, and we’d love to see it in action.

Someone released an animated GIF claiming what is seen is from the Cyberpunk 2077 itself, but this cannot be confirmed.

CD Projekt RED Expanding

The job posting is not only for vehicle programmers but a wide range of game developers. The company is planning to expand with the aim of doubling or tripling its size in the near future.

This could suggest the developer is planning to work on multiple projects at the same time.

Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer

As for Cyberpunk 2077 and its release date, well, the developer did not speak of such things. We’re not expecting a release date in 2017, but we do hope to see a big gameplay reveal at E3 2017 or whenever Microsoft shows off its Project Scorpio video game console.

The developer said nothing of the sort when it comes down to multiplayer. However, the company did receive $7 million to research seamless multiplayer, city creation, cinematic feel, and animation excellence.

A game such as Cyberpunk 2077 would work great with multiplayer features seeing as it’s likely a first person shooter. Still, CD Projekt RED is not known for multiplayer gaming, so things could go very wrong.
