#Vivo is all set to showcase its news smartphones in China. The Vivo X9 and X9 Plus teaser images leaked with the dual 20MP + 8MP Front Camera and set to launch in Beijing, China on November 16. Making the best possible use of the heat of the festive season in India, many of the companies and manufacturing firms have either announced or have already launched their handsets randomly.

In the recent past, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm had launched three other smartphones in China, namely, Vivo Y67, with 16MP and 13MP front facing and rear camera respectively, 4GB RAM and a lightning speed fingerprint sensor, and Vivo X7 and X7 plus, which have almost the same features but, the battery capacity and display size.

Vivo X7 has 3,000mAh battery and a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution, whereas the Vivo X7 Plus features a 4,000mAh battery and 5.7-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution.

Following the camera-centric smartphone trend

Vivo X7 and X7 Plus were launched as camera-centric smartphones in June and now it’s time for their successor, Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus to take over the still limited market. According to Vivo’s Weibo account’s teaser post, the new smartphones feature dual front-facing cameras, one of which is reportedly a 20MP image sensor to compete with the current selfie expert, Oppo F1S, whereas the other one will likely get a smaller 8MP sensor.

Selfie cameras are being pushed as the USP by the Chinese OEMs on their smartphones. Vivo seems all geared up after making the selfie camera, the X-factor on its X series after Gionee’s dedicated S series and Oppo making inroads with the F1 series which also focuses on the front (selfie) camera.

Other features of Vivo X9

Playfuldroid mentions, Vivo X9 to be featuring a maximum internal storage which will be somewhere around 64GB, as well as the latest Snapdragon 653 SoC processor. The internal space will be under the memory compartment. The price frames for the upcoming flagship however, still remain unrevealed by the company and will be given out at the launch event. Rumor has it, the smartphone manufacturer wants to launch Vivo X9 as soon as possible because of the pressure from the release of its competitors, Huawei Mate 9 as well as Xiaomi Mi Mix.
