The Cleveland Cavaliers have been playing poor basketball in the last few weeks, and they are currently on a three-game losing streak. After winning only five out of their first 12 games, it looked like the Cavaliers figured it out and they got on a win streak that helped them climb to the third spot in the East. However, they are struggling again, but this time they might need to make a big change before things can improve.

Tyronn Lue, Cavaliers head coach, hasn't been very popular among players and fans of the team. Many fans have questioned his lineups and rotations, but it appears that players are starting to question it too.

There is no doubt that the head coach is on the hot seat, and if things don't improve for the Cavaliers soon, it won't be surprising if he gets fired.

Tyronn Lue's job safety

Losing causes a lot of frustration for players, and it appears that many of them are frustrated with Tyronn Lue. Apparently, a big problem with Lue is that he doesn't want to switch lineups, especially the starting unit. However, the coach believes that this would be a bad move during the losing streak as it could send a wrong message.

Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com wrote about the issues the team is dealing with. "Some players are wondering why Lue doesn’t use lineups that are more matchup based? When the Cavs are playing teams with big centers, players say, start Tristan Thompson at center and move Kevin Love back to the four," Vardon wrote.

He added how players would like the coach to experiment with more matchup-based lineups and sometimes move Thompson to the bench and have Jae Crowder and Love start at the four and the five.

Cavaliers in problems

There are only three teams in the entire league who had a worse record than the Cleveland Cavaliers in the last 10 games.

The Cavaliers are 3-7 in their last 10 games, and only one of those wins was against a tough opponent. The only wins came against the Orlando Magic, the Chicago Bulls, and the Portland Trail Blazers. The Cavaliers struggled against both the Magic and the Bulls, but managed to get away with close victories.

The worst game of their losing streak came against the Toronto Raptors.

The Cavaliers allowed the Raptors to score 133 points in the game and create a lot of separation in the standings. At the moment, the Cavaliers are 26-16 and in the third spot in the East. However, they are seven games behind the first-seeded Boston Celtics and 3.5 games behind the Raptors.
