The Miami Heat find themselves in an interesting situation moving forward as a franchise. With no Dwyane Wade, and with the "Big 3" era in the past, the team must forge a new identity with players like Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside at the helm. While the current Miami Heat would certainly like to get back to their winning ways, here are the Top 5 longest streaks in franchise history:

5. 12 wins (November/December 2010)

While certainly not the longest streak as far as streaks go, this was the first season of the Miami Heat "Big 3" era. That in and of itself is a significant point to note.

This was the first real taste that Miami Heat fans got as far as what the "Big 3" could do as a team, en route to 2 NBA titles and 4 straight NBA Finals appearances as a team.

4. 12 wins (February/March 2005)

This team was certainly different, and could certainly hold their own. With Dwyane Wade in his prime as "Flash" and "The Diesel" Shaquille O'Neal still producing at a high level, this was likely a foreshadowing of what was to come in the following season, where Dwyane Wade would single-handedly carry the Miami Heat to their first title in 2006. The roster of this team also included solid players like Gary Payton and Antoine Walker.

3. 13 wins (January/February 2017)

This streak is the one that's fresh in the minds of Miami Heat fans, as it happened just last season.

This streak, while not the most impressive in terms of wins, was still significant for a number of reasons. This was a major indication that the Miami Heat are in good hands, both now and in the future, establishing Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside as the focal points of the franchise moving forward.

2. 14 wins (December 2004/January 2005)

This win streak was certainly significant due to the fact that this was the first time Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade were paired together following the blockbuster trade that sent Shaq to the Miami Heat from the Los Angeles Lakers. This roster also featured veterans like Eddie Jones and Alonzo Mourning.

1. 27 wins (February 2013/March 2013)

This streak is significant, not just in terms of Miami Heat franchise history, but NBA history all-time. These 27 wins came en route to the team's second title in 2 years, with the "Big 3" of Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh all gelling and firing on all cylinders. 27 wins ranks third all-time, behind only the 33 wins of a Los Angeles Lakers team featuring icons like Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlain, and the 28 wins of a Golden State Warriors team on an absolute tear, finishing the regular season with a 73-9 record.

Which streak do you find most impressive, and which was the most fun to watch?
