LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers are on a five-game winning streak, but they are still a few games behind the Boston Celtics. The Celtics are the hottest team in the NBA right now, having won 16 straight games. Kyrie Irving, LeBron's former teammate, is doing a fantastic job this season and he is one of the biggest reasons why the Celtics have the best record in the league right now.

At the moment, it seems that the Cavaliers made a wrong move by trading Irving to Boston. However, it will be interesting to see long they can stay on the top and if they can finish the regular season as the first seed in the conference.

LeBron James knows that the Celtics could be dangerous this season, but he's focused on his team right now and he's not interested in the Celtics and their impressive win streak.

LeBron James is focused on his team

Despite being on a five-game win streak, the Cleveland Cavaliers are far from a great team. As a matter of fact, they have won only 10 games so far in the season, and before the win streak, they were two games under .500. LeBron realizes that his team needs to improve to have a chance at winning another title, and that is why he doesn't care about any other team in the league, including the Celtics.

"Huh? You want me to comment on that? Nah. I've got too much to worry about around here right now trying to get our ship going in the right direction," commented James when asked about the Celtics and their winning streak.

"I don't pay attention to too much of what's going on besides their record and things they've been doing."

The Cavaliers forward, however, added that the Celtics are playing good basketball. It's interesting to note that the Boston Celtics have lost only two games this season, including their season opener against the Cavaliers.

They will match up again on January 3 next year.

Eastern Conference Finals

It is very likely that the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers will once again meet in the Eastern Conference Finals. Last time this happened, Kyrie Irving was on the Cavs and the Celtics were eliminated in five games. Next year, things could be much different.

After playing 18 games, the Celtics are 16-2 and they are 2.5 games ahead of the second-placed Houston Rockets. They have managed to defeat the Golden State Warriors during their win streak, so it won't be impossible for them to take the Cavaliers down. However, Cleveland still has LeBron James, and as long as he's on the team, the Cavaliers will be favorites to make it to the NBA Finals.
