The Spanish giants, Real Madrid will greet the Premier League team, Tottenham Hotspur on 18th October at Santiago Bernabeu. Both teams will look to grab the three points and keep the 100 percent winning record intact in the Champions League.

Both teams struggled in the start of the 2017/18 season. Real Madrid won the La Liga as well as the Champions League last season. They won their third Champions League trophy in a row last campaign.

However, defending champions struggled to win games in the start of the 2017/18 La Liga season.

They are the third team on the La Liga points table and first in the Champions League group. Madrid struggled initially without their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo. He was sent off by the referee for a violent conduct and suspended for five games. Coming back from suspension, he’s been criticized many times by the Real Madrid fans due to his recent bad performances.

Tottenham Hotspur finished off their last season in the second spot. Everyone had expected a good campaign by Tottenham this year but they lost against their rivals, Chelsea and played two draw matches against mid-table teams, Swansea and Burnley.

However, now looks like they’ve sorted out their problems as they have won four games in their last five Premier League matches. Tottenham Hotspur is currently possessing the third spot with 17 points in the Premier League.

Action packed fixture
