On Friday night, the NBA preseason schedule wraps up with a slew of games on the schedule. Among them will be a national TV doubleheader featuring four premier teams. In the first game of the two, the San Antonio Spurs visit the Houston Rockets in a battle of top Texas teams. The Rockets now feature Chris Paul, who was once rumored to be considering the Spurs. Meanwhile, Gregg Popovich's squad is looking towards another successful season in the West. Here's the latest Spurs vs. Rockets preview with matchup odds, game time, TV Channel, and live stream feed details.

NBA game preview

The San Antonio Spurs enter this final exhibition game with a 2-2 overall record and an 0-1 away record. The team opened their preseason with a six-point loss to Sacramento but then bounced back and defeated them by 20 at home. They also defeated the Denver Nuggets by 22 points before losing this past week to Orlando, 103-98. In that game, LaMarcus Aldridge had 16 points and four rebounds, while Dejounte Murray scored 15. Newcomer Rudy Gay scored 13 points off the bench and grabbed seven boards. Kawhi Leonard didn't play in that game. The Spurs' All-Star is still considered a question mark as far as being available to start in the team's regular-season opener.

For the Houston Rockets, it's been smooth sailing to a 4-0 record in the NBA preseason.

The team opened with a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder 104-97 before defeating visiting Shanghai Sharks by 62 points. From there, they beat the Knicks by 22 and the Memphis Grizzlies by 12. In that recent win over the Grizzlies, James Harden finished with 18 points, but the majority came via his 14 free throws. He also recorded nine assists and five boards while Trevor Ariza had 16 points and eight rebounds.

Clint Capelo chipped in with a 15-point game to go with nine boards.

Tonight's point spread is sitting at seven points in favor of the Houston Rockets. Vegas Insider also reports that the over/under points total is 209.5 points for the complete game.
