Just one undefeated team remains in the NBA and that's the Los Angeles Clippers. On Saturday night, they'll host the visiting Detroit Pistons, a team that has started off 3-2 in the Eastern Conference. Can Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and "Lob City" continue their undefeated trend tonight or will Andre Drummond and the Pistons give them that first loss? With a 3-2 overall record, the Detroit Pistons come into Saturday night's contest off a 122-101 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In that game several days ago, Tobias Harris once again led the way for his team as he had 34 points on 14-for-24 shooting. Andre Drummond finished with a double-double of 15 points and 15 boards, while Avery Bradley had 20 points. That win came on their home court, though, and tonight they try to defeat a juggernaut of a team on the road.
Meanwhile, the L.A. Clippers have looked unstoppable with a 4-0 record overall and a perfect 2-0 record at the Staples Center. The team managed to stay undefeated despite a tough road contest two days ago at Portland. The Clips managed to escape with a 104-103 win over the Trail Blazers thanks to a buzzer-beater 3-point shot that Blake Griffin nailed. The All-Star forward finished with 25 points while teammate DeAndre Jordan had 18 rebounds in the game to help in the victory.
The home team will be relatively heavy favorites for tonight's game with a point spread of eight points in their favor. The Clippers are also -380 on the money line while the Pistons are +290 underdogs. For over/under bettors, tonight's number is around 205.5 points for the complete game.
