After another week of National Football League action, NFL analyst Elliot Harrison released the week 8 power rankings. This list is from the 4th down to the 8th spot of the week 8 power rankings.

The Kansas City Chiefs are nursing a lot of injuries, and quarterback Alex Smith is playing at an MVP level which we have not seen before. The New Orleans Saints have also won their last four games despite the fact that quarterback Drew Brees not playing on his usual playing level. However, the Saints' running game and defense have been helping them out to win those games.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (5-2)

The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Oakland Raiders 31-30 after a late-game shootout. Quarterback Alex Smith was among the passing leaders during week seven of the 2017 NFL regular season; Smith threw three touchdowns while completing 25 out of 36 pass attempts for 342 yards. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill was also among the receiving leaders after he received six passes for 125 yards, Hill also scored one touchdown for Kansas City.

5. New England Patriots (5-2)

The New England Patriots won against the Atlanta Falcons 23-7 during the Super bowl 51 rematch. Quarterback Tom Brady completed 21 out of 29 pass attempts for 249 yards while throwing two touchdowns. Running back Dion Lewis rushed for 76 yards on 13 attempts while kicker Stephen Gostkowski scored eleven points after making all of his field goal and extra point attempts.

6. Seattle Seahawks (4-2)

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New York Giants 24-7. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw three touchdowns and was among the passing leaders during week seven of the 2017 NFL regular season after he completed 27 out of 39 pass attempts for 334 yards. Wide receiver Doug Baldwin had 92 receiving yards after he caught nine passes; Baldwin also scored one touchdown for the Seahawks.

7. Minnesota Vikings (5-2)

The Minnesota Vikings won against the Baltimore Ravens 24-16. Quarterback Case Keenum completed 20 out of 31 pass attempts for 188 yards while throwing one interception. Running back Latavius Murray scored one touchdown after rushing for 113 yards on 18 carries, Murray was among the rushing leaders during week seven of the 2017 NFL regular season.

Kicker Kai Forbath made all six of his field goal attempts for 18 points, Forbath failed to convert one extra point attempt.

8. New Orleans Saints (4-2)

The New Orleans Saints defeated the Green Bay Packers 26-17; the Packers are without their starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Quarterback Drew Brees threw one touchdown and two interceptions while completing 27 out of 38 pass attempts for 331 yards; Brees is among the passing leaders during week seven of the 2017 NFL regular season. Wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. was also among the receiving leaders in week seven; Ginn received seven passes for 141 yards.
