Despite the loss, Josh Jackson had a solid game against the Phoenix Suns. He contributed 22 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block in 40 minutes.

Jackson went 9-of-14 from the field, 0-of-3 from beyond the arc, and 4-of-5 from the free throw line. Jackson continues to show everyone how much talent he already has. If Jackson can stay healthy and improve his game, he will surely become one of the best two-way players in the NBA.

Mike James scores 19 points

Devin Booker did not play against the Portland Trail Blazers last night and this resulted in Mike James playing extended minutes. He contributed 19 points, two rebounds, and one assist in 26 minutes.

James shot 45.4 percent from the field, 50 percent from beyond the arc, and 100 percent from the free throw line. James will not get much play this season, but with the Phoenix Suns still in rebuild mode, he has to be ready whenever he is called up to play.

Ed Davis grabs 12 rebounds

Ed Davis played a solid game despite only playing 17 minutes against the Phoenix Suns. He contributed seven points, 12 rebounds, and one steal in just 17 minutes. He went 2-of-5 from the field and 3-of-3 from the free throw line. Ed Davis will not get much playing time this upcoming season. As Jusuf Nurkic is slowly transforming into a very solid center for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Lillard and McCollum does a bit of everything

Damian Lillard played a solid game on both ends of the floor against the Phoenix Suns. He contributed 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block in 24 minutes. He shot 35.7 percent from the field, 66.7 percent from beyond the arc, and 50 percent from the free throw line.

Damian Lillard continues to show that he is one of the elite scorers in the NBA today.

CJ McCollum also had a decent night against the Suns. He contributed 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. He went 4-of-14 from the field, 0-of-3 from beyond the arc, and 2-of-3 from the free throw line. McCollum is slowly evolving into a crafty and amazing scorer in the league.
