Marc Gasol struggles with shots

Marc Gasol had a solid all-around game last night against the Atlanta Hawks, but he had a hard time making shots.

He contributed four points, 13 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks. He shot 2-9 from the field, 0-1 from the three-point line and he did not have any free throw attempt. With the western conference as strong as ever this upcoming season, Marc Gasol will have to step up his game in order for the Memphis Grizzlies to make a playoff run.

Conley played an all-around game in just 18 minutes

Mike Conley contributed seven points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals against the Atlanta Hawks last night. He shot 3-8 from the field, 0-3 from the three-point line, and 1-3 from the charity stripe. Mike Conley is still strongly considered as one of the best two-way point guards in the NBA along with John Wall.

Conley will have to play as hard as he can this upcoming season so that they can make the playoffs.

Dennis Schroder scores a game-high 21 points

Dennis Schroder continues to shine as the main scoring option for the Atlanta Hawks. Last night, Schroder contributed 21 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 29 minutes of gameplay against the Memphis Grizzlies.

He shot 8-17 from the field and 2-6 from the three-point line. We will surely see Schroder's stats take a huge leap this upcoming season with him being the go-to guy in Atlanta.

Taurean Prince does a bit of everything

Taurean Prince played a solid all-around game last night against the Memphis Grizzlies. Prince contributed 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

He struggled with his shot last night, making only four of his 13 field goal attempts and missing four of his five three-point shot attempts. Taurean Prince will have plenty of minutes this upcoming season as the Atlanta Hawks are now shifting to full rebuild mode. Prince will have the chance to showcase his talents as a rookie, and he will also have the opportunity to improve his game by playing a lot of minutes this upcoming NBA season.
