Miami Dolphins rumors were quickly addressed by coach Adam Gase and he has revealed that there will be no quarterback competition with his team. Despite losing 20-0 to the new orleans Saints and watching quarterback Jay Cutler have a really difficult time moving the ball down the field; Gase stated that he still has faith in his guy. That could be surprising and dismaying news to a number of Dolphins fans.

Cutler completed 20-of-28 passes for 164 yards against the Saints. He didn’t have any touchdown passes, but did throw a costly interception in the game.

Cutler and the Dolphins couldn’t get the vertical game going downfield, limiting the options he had to work with on offense. It didn’t help that Jay Ajayi was struggling to gain yards on the ground.

A lot of questions for Dolphins on offense

The excuse could be used that the Week 4 game took place in London, but there was an expectation that the Miami Dolphins would be able to move the ball easily against a subpar New Orleans Saints defense. That didn’t happen, though, as the Dolphins managed only 186 total yards, getting shutout in embarrassing fashion. Now they know what the Baltimore Ravens felt like when the Jacksonville Jaguars crushed them in London last week.

In the first two games of the season, played against the Los Angeles Chargers and New York Jets, Jay Cutler threw for 450 yards and two touchdowns.

He had completed 64.9 percent of his passes and thrown one interception. The offense frequently stalled in each of those games as well, though, raising some serious concerns about where this team is heading during the 2017 NFL season.

Do the Dolphins have the worst offense in the NFL?

Jay Ajayi is playing through a knee issue, but even the starting running back for the Dolphins wouldn’t use that as an excuse for the poor play of the offense.

The Miami Dolphins have scored just 25 points during the entire NFL season, showing that there are a lot of problems the coaching staff needs to deal with during practice this week. Some weaknesses were exposed during a 20-6 loss to the New York Jets last week, but the team didn’t make the necessary adjustments.

Week 5 brings a game against the Tennessee Titans at home.

A lot of NFL experts really like this Titans team and the team had been playing up to that hype. They handled the Seattle Seahawks very easily but just got throttled by the Houston Texans on Sunday (Oct. 1). The Texans put up 57 points on the Titans, giving Dolphins fans hope that even this offense will be able to score on them. While more Miami Dolphins rumors could surface about the offense, everyone now knows Jay Cutler is keeping his job.
