The Milwaukee Bucks are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a newly painted court; something that ruffled Kyrie Irving's feathers. With the Bucks court painted in bright colors depicting a retro "Return to MECCA" theme, Irving seemed concerned about the floor. He was assured, however, that the floor is newer and is freshly painted; nothing more. Skeptical as he may seem, Irving said he would assess the floor once the game started.

Comments on the new Bucks court

"I'm all about safety, so we'll see how it is on my knees, see how it is on everyone's bodies," Irving said.

He further added that it only took him three steps to realize that the Bucks court is not the same court he used to play on in the past. Celtics coach Brad Stevens is excited about the Bucks celebration but said their main mission is to stay concentrated and win the game before heading home.

While Irving felt uncomfortable with the new court, his teammates were more in awe of the design and the bright colors that came with it. Al Horford, at one point, was seen taking pictures of the retro painted court. But it turned out, not even a bright painted floor could stop Irving and the Celtics team from winning the game. After previously losing to the Milwaukee Bucks headed by Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Celtics returned to deliver their revenge on the floor.

Kyrie Irving's Bucks performance

As opposed to Irving's 17 pts. in the Celtics last game, he found a way to create a connection with Al Horford, finishing with 24 pts. and seven assists against the Bucks. Apparently, Irving's previous comment about him and Horford's offensive chemistry needing some tweaking is a thing of the past.

Kyrie Irving was previously fined $25,000 for engaging in spat against a Philadelphia 763r's fan. In a video posted on Twitter, Irving was heard saying vulgar words when asked: "where is LeBron?" This was confirmed by the Celtics vice president Kiki Vandeweghe. "Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving has been fined $25,000 for using inappropriate language when responding to a fan," he said.

Kyrie Irving was traded to the Boston Celtics after he requested a trade in July. Celtics' Isaiah Thomas, Ante Zizic, and Jae Crowder came to Cleveland as part of the trade deal. Irving has since dodged question pertaining to LeBron James since his departure from Cleveland. The Boston Celtics are currently 3-2 in the new season of NBA. The league recently reshuffled its starting spot after Gordon Hayward suffered a season-ending injury.
