Recruiting for the University of Georgia 2018 football season has fans excited. Previously the Georgia Bulldogs recruited the number one ranked quarterback in the nation, Justin Fields. The team has also recruited many five star players for the 2018 season including Tramel Warthour and Aaron Brule. The team's most interesting prospect is Daniel Faalele, a 6-foot 8-inch recruit from Australia who knew nothing of football until he came to the U.S. Now the team has signed Adam Anderson. Anderson is a 4-star linebacker from Rome, Georgia, and he chose Georgia over the University of Alabama.

Adam Anderson: the stats

Fox 5 News reported that Adam Anderson made the commitment to Georgia on his 18th birthday. Back in August the Rome football star had de-committed from both the University of Georgia and LSU. Now he has made the committed to the Bulldogs and chosen them over Alabama. The 247Sports composite has him ranked as the number three outside linebacker and the number 43 overall player. Anderson is 6'4" and 220 pounds and during the most recent season, he recorded 27 tackles, 14 solo, and 13 assists.

Anderson finally commits to Georgia

The Telegraph reported that Anderson will be joining Miller Grove’s Caleb Tannor and Marietta’s Azeez Ojulari as the latest to commit to the team.

This commitment is the third that Anderson has made as he previously committed to Georgia before. Anderson made a trip to LSU in April with teammates Jamarcus Chatman and Ja’Quon Griffin. He committed to LSU. Things changed when his teammates made other commitments and Chatman chose Tennessee. Although Georgia now has 16 commitments, Anderson is the highest ranked defensive recruit the university has.

Rome Coach John Reid said that not only is Anderson explosive on the field, he is a player of great integrity and character.

Dawg Nation reported that Anderson committed to Georgia at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday night. He considered the decision a tough one as he chose a school from his home state over Alabama. He became the 17th player to join the Georgia roster, and it pushed the team to number six in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting rankings.

Anderson plans to major in sports broadcasting. Currently, the Georgia Bulldogs are on their way to a potential SEC championship, and if they win, it could mean a national championship as Georgia and Alabama could meet for the SEC Championship. Alabama is currently ranked number one while Georgia is ranked number three.
