Although Georgia now has 16 commitments, Anderson is the highest ranked defensive recruit the university has. Rome Coach John Reid said that not only is Anderson explosive on the field, he is a player of great integrity and character.

Dawg Nation reported that Anderson committed to Georgia at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday night. He considered the decision a tough one as he chose a school from his home state over Alabama. He became the 17th player to join the Georgia roster, and it pushed the team to number six in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting rankings. Anderson plans to major in sports broadcasting. Currently, the Georgia Bulldogs are on their way to a potential SEC championship, and if they win, it could mean a national championship as Georgia and Alabama could meet for the SEC Championship. Alabama is currently ranked number one while Georgia is ranked number three.
