LeBron James was very excited when great friend Dwyane Wade forced his contract to be bought out by the Chicago Bulls and decided to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was happy that not only he had not only another superstar on his team, but also a great friend as well.

When a player signs with a new team, one of the first things that comes to their mind is where will they stay. In almost all cases, the player doesn’t have a house in the city, and needs to settle for a hotel until they find one. In Dwyane Wade’s case, he did not have a house either, so LeBron James offered up a room in his house for the shooting guard to stay, although Wade didn’t want to make himself at home.

LeBron talks about Wade staying over

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were asked in an exclusive interview with Rachel Nichols about a lot of subjects including championships, lifestyles and plans for the future. But one thing the duo were asked about, was where Dwyane Wade stayed as soon as he got to the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron answered in relief, saying, “finally got him a place. He was getting a little weirded out about being in a hotel.”

Rachel Nichols asked LeBron why he didn’t stay at his house, to which LeBron responded that he did, he just didn’t want to make himself at home saying, “I told him, he can stay at my place as long as he wants to." Dwyane Wade butted in saying, “I stayed over, I just didn’t want to be like ‘yo, I’m moving in’ and LeBron further expressed the comfort he has with letting Wade’s family live in his $14 million dollar mansion saying, “wife didn’t care, she was like ‘is D-Wade here’ and I was like ‘I don’t know go check his room.'

LeBron – the ultimate teammate

This act of LeBron James might prove he is the best teammate ever.

Not only does he makes his teammates better on the floor, but off the floor he lends a helping hand too if they don’t have a Place To Stay at night. Although Dwyane Wade is one of LeBron’s best friends and was drafted with him in 2003, and the two played together in South Beach from 2010-2014, it is still a great act of kindness by the King.

King James is known as a great leader on the court, in the locker room, and outside the court too. He helps kids in need using his LeBron James Family Foundation, and on the court has helped many players reach places they have never reached before, including the NBA Finals and championship. LeBron is hoping he and Dwyane Wade can do more than live together this season, as he will be hoping to win a third ring alongside his best friend.
