The Boston Celtics beat the New York Knicks with the score 110-89 on Tuesday at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusets. The Knicks had a hard time making shots against the Celtics, shooting 42.4 percent from the field, 8.3 percent from the three-point line, and 64 percent from the Free Throw Line.The New York Knicks now drop to 0-3 on the season while the Celtics advance to 2-2.

Hardaway and Porzingis struggles

Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr. struggled badly with their shot against the Boston Celtics. Both of them had a total of 25 field goal attempts and they only made five.

Porzingis contributed 12 points and five rebounds while shooting 21.4 percent from the field. Hardaway also had a bad night with six points and three rebounds while shooting only 18.2 percent from the field. The Knicks rely heavily on both Porzingis and Hardaway on offense, and with them shooting 5-of-25 from the field the Knicks will have a hard time winning games.

Enes Kanter grabs 19 rebounds

Despite the loss, Enes Kanter had himself his best game so far as a member of the New York Knicks. He contributed 16 points, 19 rebounds, and one block in 29 minutes. He shot 63.6 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the free throw line. Kanter has been very solid so far for the Knicks, he has averaged 14.3 points, 12 rebounds, one steal, and 0.3 blocks.

He will likely continue to play well throughout the season unless Boston gives priority to their young guys in the second half of the season.

After an off game, Brown resumes hot streak

After only scoring nine points against Philadelphia on Friday, Jaylen Brown continues his hot streak for the Boston Celtics. He contributed 23 points, four rebounds, one block, and one steals in 32 minutes.

He went 9-of-16 from the field, 3-of-6 from beyond the arc, and 2-of-3 from the free throw line. With Gordon Hayward out for the entire season, Jaylen Brown has continued to shine for the Boston Celtics. He has averaged 18.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks. If he can continue his strong performances he may be a candidate for Most Improved Player of the Year this season.

Jayson Tatum gets four steals

Jayson Tatum had an incredible game against the New York Knicks. He contributed 22 points, four rebounds, two assists, four steals, and two blocks in 31 minutes. Tatum has shown how good he is at scoring the ball, but one of the most impressive stat lines he had was getting four steals and two blocks. This shows just how good Tatum can be and how much potential he has to be an all-around player in the NBA.
