Liverpool will hosting Manchester United at Anfield on October 14. The Premier League fans will watch their teams playing from next weekends after 14 days long gap for International breaks.

It will be a tough match for both sides as both teams have targeted this season Premier League title. However, Liverpool is totally out of track as they currently stand seventh on the points table with 12 points.

Manchester United hasn't lost a match yet, but they are facing an injury crisis in midfield as their principal midfielder Paul Pogba was injured a few weeks ago while playing against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

Liverpool couldn’t win their last game against the newly promoted side, Newcastle United. Both teams scored one goal each and game ended with one point to each side. It was almost like a defeat for Klopp as they had already dropped a lot of points.

Manchester United

If we compare United’s performance with Liverpool, United come out on top as they have only dropped two points so far in the Premier League this season. United have been performing way better than the last season. In the first seven Premier League games, they have won six games and dropped only two points with a draw against Stoke City.

Man Utd currently stands on the second spot with as many points as league leaders, Man City. Both teams, Manchester United and Manchester City, have 19 points but City is on top since they have more goal difference than United.

Manchester United needs to win this match somehow if they want to win the league title. United are up against few tough teams in the upcoming Premier League rounds.

If they drop points against Liverpool, then the point-difference between United and City can escalate. It can put United under more pressure, and the pressure will undoubtedly affect the upcoming game results.

The Red Devils haven’t played against a title contenders team yet in the Premier League. The match against Liverpool on 14th of October will prove how strongly United has been heading towards the glory.
