Week 1 of the NFL season schedule is chock-full of great games, and right at the top of that list is the Seattle Seahawks traveling to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. In a matchup that many NFL experts are predicting could be the NFC Championship Game, the Seahawks and Packers Week 1 tilt really is must-see TV for all NFL fans.

Wilson vs. Rodgers

When it comes to talking about the top quarterbacks in the league, Seattle's Russell Wilson and Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers are always at the top of the list. That's why Sunday Afternoon's matchup in Green Bay has the potential to be one of the best games on the schedule.

Both quarterbacks have had great success so far in their careers, and both have also won a Super Bowl title. All that being said, fans from both sides are hoping that this is the year that each team once again makes it to the NFL pinnacle.

Quarterbacks aside, both of these teams have better than average offenses and defenses. Last season the Packers finished third in scoring in the NFL. Now that Green Bay has added tight end Martellus Bennett to the fold, the Packers should be as strong, if not stronger, in 2017.

On the other side of the ball, you have the Seattle defense. After leading the league in scoring defense in 2013, 2014 and 2015, the Seahawks finished third in that category last season.

That is still very impressive. And oh, by the way, they added a pretty good defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson last week from the New York Jets. It looks like the Seahawks will be stacked once again in 2017.

How to watch live, current odds and prediction

NFL fans can watch Sunday's Seahawks vs. Packers game several ways. Nationally, the game will air live on FOX.

Las Vegas oddsmakers have the Green Bay Packers listed as a 3-point favorite, with the over/under point total set at 51. So who wins Sunday's game between these two powerhouses?

It’s cliche, but the team whose QB plays better has the best chance, along with the team that doesn't give away points via the turnover. Last year when these two met up, it was all Green Bay - and turnovers were a key part in the game.

The Pack forced six Seattle errors on their way to a 38-10 blowout. While they aren’t likely to see six turnovers again this Sunday, Green Bay just needs Rodgers and company to play like they usually do at home, and force at least a turnover or two. The Packers finished an incredible 9-1 when winning the turnover battle in 2016.
