The reigning Super Bowl Champions got off to a rough start, but will try to bounce back on Sunday. The New England Patriots will visit the New Orleans Saints in a battle of 0-1 teams featuring veteran quarterbacks. There's still plenty of trust in New England's ability to repeat as Super Bowl champs despite some key injuries and personnel losses. Here's the latest Patriots vs. Saints game preview with matchup odds, start time, TV channel, and how to see the NFL game live streaming online.

NFL game preview

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots struggled in their season-opening game at home against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The team was able to stay ahead of the visiting Chiefs for three quarters, but just barely. In the fourth, Kansas City exposed the Patriots' defense and scored three unanswered touchdowns to win the game 42-27. Brady finished with 267 yards on 16-of-36 passing but was unable to find the end zone as one of his favorite targets, Julian Edelman, was not on the field, and won't be for the season.

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints also had trouble in their first game of the NFL season. The team played in one of the Monday Night Football games on a doubleheader with Minnesota defeating them 29-19. The newest member of the Saints, former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, had just 18 yards on six carries.

Drew Brees threw 291 yards and a touchdown pass on 27-for-37 passing. Beyond that touchdown, the rest of New Orleans' points came via four field goals. They'll definitely try to increase their scoring output in Sunday's home opener.

According to Odds Shark, the Patriots will be four-point favorites on the road today. For moneyline bettors, New England is a -255 to -280 favorite while the home team is a +215 to +240 underdog.

There's a suggested total of 57 points for over/under bettors to contemplate ahead of the game.
