After losing their first game of the season to Alabama, Florida State was unable to play in their next two matchups due to the severe weather of the hurricane.

For the NC State Wolfpack, they arrive to this game at 2-1 after last week's loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks. Deebo Samuel had three touchdowns for SC to lead the way in a 35-28 win.
