On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will get to play their first game of the NFL season. Hurricane Irma postponed their original opener against the Miami Dolphins, making it a bye week for the two teams. The Bucs will host a Chicago Bears team that managed to stay with the Super Bowl runner-up team Atlanta in their opener. Will Jameis Winston and the Bucs give the fans a show on Sunday against the visiting Bears? Here's the latest game preview with the point spread, points total, Game Time, TV channel, and Bears vs. Buccaneers live stream options.

NFL game preview

In Week 1, the Chicago Bears dropped their season opener at home to the Atlanta Falcons, 23-17. Despite the loss, rookie running back Talik Cohen stepped up with five carries and 66 yards. Quarterback Mike Glennon threw for 213 yards and a touchdown. For today's game, the team may be without running back Jordan Howard, as well as wide receivers Josh Bellamy and Markus Wheaton, who are all listed as questionable. Center Kyle Long will be out.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will get some of their players their first action on the field as they missed several preseason games. Jameis Winston will look to build upon his continued improvement to lead this team closer to the playoffs this season.

For the 2016 season, Winston had 345-of-567 completed passes for 4,090 yards and 28 touchdowns. The team finished 9-7, which was just a few games behind division winners Atlanta, showing that the Bucs are a team on the rise. Over the offseason, they drafted Florida State tight end O.J. Howard who brings his promising set of skills to the offense as a new target for Winston.

The home team Buccaneers are favored by a touchdown on today's point spread. They're also -285 or higher on the moneyline while the visiting Bears are +240 to +245 at various books. For the over/under points total, bettors have a number of 43.5 points for the game to consider.
