Philippe Coutinho's future at the Anfield still remains a big uncertainty despite Barcelona’s failed bids over the past few weeks. Now it looks like Liverpool have identified a perfect replacement for the unhappy Brazilian forward, Klopp is now eyeing Arsenal’s main striking force Alexis Sanchez whose future has also been attracted so much speculation. As per Sky Sports Pundit Stelling’s view (via Daily Star), the Chilean could be signed for half the price of Philippe Coutinho. Yes, although it sounds crazy if the latest reports are to be believed, this surely will be the biggest shocking transfer in Premier League.

Arsenal might not sell Sanchez

Till now, Manchester City was the frontrunner in the race to land Sanchez, but Arsenal had made it clear that they will not sell the prolific attacker to any domestic rivals despite the Chilean’s strong desire leave The Emirates. This is not the first time Liverpool have tried their luck on Sanchez. The former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers recently revealed that when Luis Suarez left for Barcelona, Liverpool identified Alexis Sanchez as a potential replacement. Just like, Mesut Ozil and Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanchez’s contract also runs out next summer. With the possibility of losing these highly valuable assets on a free transfer next year, a bid tabled with right price and rational negotiation might persuade Arsenal to cash in on their star players.

Sanchez wants to leave

Sanchez, no doubt, being Arsenal's best bet right now, has already expressed his desire to make a move away from North London if Arsenal agrees to do business. Liverpool will definitely become cash rich if they offload Coutinho, and then a bid of more than £60 million could pave the way to bring in one of Premier League’s most destructive attacker.

We all know, what Sanchez is capable of at his peak and that’s why he is regarded as among the best players football has ever seen. Although Sanchez has set his heart on a move away from Arsene Wenger’s increasingly frustrated strategy, the possibility of him signing for direct domestic rivals like as the Reds doesn’t look very promising and the Gunners have already showed their intent to hold on to the Chilean striker for the time being.

Liverpool are also chasing Arsenal’s long-term target Thomas Lemar in the last few weeks before the transfer window shuts down and it surely suggests an exciting and thrilling end to the summer transfer window for the fans of both sides.
