The offseason is coming to a close as teams finalize their roster before training camps begin and the NBA organization finalized their new and improved less hectic schedule for next season. With all the changes we have seen the past months next season will surely be a treat for all NBA fans. Here are a couple of updates on the NBA free agency scene:

Tony Parker could return early 2018

San Antonio Spurs fan had their heart broken last post season thrice as Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard was injured, and them losing to the former NBA Champions Golden State Warriors in a sweep.

Despite their wonderful season, they came up short after being hampered by injuries as they advanced to the Western Conference Finals, and with the lack of manpower, they eventually obliterated by the Juggernaught Golden State Warriors. Moving into next season, it seems as the Spurs have many things to be optimistic about, acquiring Rudy Gay this offseason, re-signing Pau Gasol and Manu Ginobili and of course the return of Tony Parker. Jeff Garcia of NBC San Antonio has reported that Tony Parker may return January first of next year as his healing process is going smoothly.

Parker in an interview this offseason said that he was feeling pretty well and that he was starting to run and move like before.

He also acknowledges that a lot of work still had to be put into his rehab, but things seem to be moving very smoothly in his recovery. Tony Parker will enter his 17th NBA season next year; he is a four time NBA Champion, former six-time all-star and former NBA finals MVP. He has career averages of 16.2 points, 0.1 blocks, 0.9 steals, 5.8 assists, and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 49.3% from the field and 32.7% from beyond the arc.
