While the 2018 class for the Nebraska Football team has been shaping up quite nicely, there have been a few players that have slipped through the cracks. Since slipping through the cracks, it appears at least one Husker target could be coming back into the fold.

Cameron Brown was once considered a pretty dependable commitment. The receiver was the first player from the state of Missouri to commit to the Huskers this cycle. Then he went and visited Ohio State and suddenly decided he wasn't quite ready to say he was definitely going to be part of the Nebraska football team.

Brown announced on his official Twitter account that he was going to be reopening his recruiting. The Omaha World Herald reports Brown could be announcing his commitment for the second time this summer on Monday. This time, it's expected the wide receiver recruit is going to stick to his pick.

Nebraska football could be the favorite again

While the Huskers felt like Brown was going to Ohio State at one point, it looks like the Nebraska football coaches might have been able to convince him Lincoln is where he needs to be after all. Brown attended Friday Night Lights and according to those who witnessed the event, was blown away by the reception and the proceedings.

The Monday announcement seems to indicate that Brown might have been looking to pull the trigger again for a while but wanted to make sure the Huskers were where he really wanted to be.

If there is one thing that might have convinced him the Nebraska football team was still the right fit for him, it would be receivers coach Keith Williams. That story is one that Husker fans have been seeing plenty of over the last few years. Williams is one of the best recruiters in the country and his ability to forge relationships with his players is why the team has as many good receiver recruits as it does.

The Nebraska football team still has tough competition

While the Huskers might once again be the favorite to get Cameron Brown, the receiver did show off the other top schools that were giving him a look on his official Twitter account. It appears the receiver has some other names no the list of schools he might attend. Georgia, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio State and Tennessee.

are the teams he showed off on his social media account as the favorites to win his services. Now the Nebraska football team and its fans will just have to wait to see who he decides to go with when he finally does commit.
