The Minnesota Lynx are still sitting pretty with the top spot in the overall WNBA standings ahead of the playoffs.

They head into today's road game having just blown out the Indiana Fever by 59 points this past Friday night. That snapped a two-game losing streak for the team with the best overall record in the league. Now they'll take on a squad that's on a nice winning streak, having won their last four games.

The most recent of those victories for the New York Liberty was an 82-70 defeat of the Connecticut Sun. Tina Charles led the way with 24 points on an 8-for-17 performance as her team held the Sun to 34.3 percent shooting at home. Prior to that, the Liberty rattled off wins against the L.A. Sparks, Atlanta Dream, and Indiana Fever, but will get a tough test today from the possible No. 1 seed in the WNBA Playoffs.

New York currently has a 16-12 record and is in the No. 4 spot for the WNBA standings, but they're tied record-wise with the Washington Mystics. Neither team has clinched a playoff spot just yet, as a bad losing streak down this final stretch of the season could impact their chances.

Odds makers have given the visiting Minnesota Lynx five points in their favor for today's point spread.

For the moneyline, several sportsbooks offer prices with Minnesota at -230 or -240 and the Liberty as +190 underdogs. The over/under points total as of this report was 157.5 points for today's game in New York.
