Chelsea is prepared to give into the demands of Antonio Conte in a bid to keep the club in competitive shape. The club is gearing up to spend up to $258 million before the transfer market closes, but that money won’t be devoted to a single player.

With the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League titles on the line, Conte wants quality players to bring the club through these difficult times. The manager has grown frustrated with the Chelsea board due to limited transfer activity, but things are about to change.

The likes of Virgil van Dijk, Cedric Soares, and Ryan Bertrand are all being eyed by the Chelsea coach, along with Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater.

Time will tell if Conte will get the players he wants, and whether or not they’re capable of playing the Chelsea way.

Atletic Madrid agrees to pay $71 million for Diego Costa

Diego Costa and Chelsea have been at odds ever since Conte told him via text message that he’s no longer needed. That happened in January of this year, but for some odd reason, Costa is still technically a Chelsea player.

He requested a move to Atletico, but Chelsea has been dragging its feet ever since.

But that’s in the past now it seems as the newest rumors suggest Atletico Madrid has agreed to a $71 million deal for the star forward. Costa is currently in Brazil and has no intention of returning to London.

Atletico is now waiting for Costa and Chelsea to resolve their differences before moving forward.

Italian club Torino puts pressure on Blues

Chelsea is looking to improve its attack despite the recent signing of Alvaro Morata. Apparently, Conte has his eyes set on Andrea Belotti and is willing to pay $81 million for the striker. However, that’s not going to happen since Torino wants the Blues to pay his contract release clause that sits at $113 million.

Manchester City wants Eden Hazard

There have been quite a few movements surrounding Eden Hazard as of late. Rumors of the player thinking of a move to Barcelona went wild, but now a new rumor suggests Man City has stepped in to test the waters.

There’s no way Chelsea would agree to sell Hazard unless the player wants to leave.

He’s the best player they’ve got right now, and with the current situation, Hazard is sorely needed in the squad.

With the rumored signings, only time will tell if any of them join Chelsea before the transfer window closes, which isn't too long from now.
