Messi agrees to new deal

Lionel Messi had been linked with Premier League clubs Manchester City and Chelsea among others but is now ready to commit his future to the club he joined at the age of 13.

An official statement released on Barca's official website read: “FCB and Messi have finally agreed on a contract extension that'll keep the Argentina international at the Camp Nou until June 30, 2021. The contract will be signed in the coming days when Leo returns to the club for preseason training.”

Everton ready to spend cash to lure Raul Jimenez

According to Sky Sports, Everton FC have offered Benfica around $50million for the Mexican striker. Both West Ham United and Liverpool have been linked with Raul Jimenez since he became a regular starter in the Lisbon Benfica first team. However, the 26-year-old striker started jus six league matches last season, with thirteen more appearances coming off the bench, and finished up the season with 7 goals.

Jimenez was the “subject” of a $56.8million offer from China during the January transfer window but Benfica reportedly rejected the offer. And now the Goodison Park club are ready to part with the 26-year-old for anything less than that fee, with three EPL clubs now seemingly in the chase to sign Raul Jimenez this summer.

Everton FC have already been very “active” in the summer window, with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Michael Keane both arriving for fees which could rise to $38.7million.

There are also willing to re-sign Wayne Rooney from Manchester United on a free transfer this summer.

Boga signs new deal at Chelsea and set for another loan spell

Jeremie Boga is yet to appear for the EPL champions but has spent time out on loan at Granada and Rennes over the past two-years His performances the last term with the Spanish outfit Granada appears to have been enough for Chelsea to extend the 20-year-old striker current contract.

Jeremie Boga made twenty-six appearances in the Spanish La Liga, fourteen from the start, and he netted two times. Now, according to Tribal Football, the Ivorian is in line for an extension on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, which currently runs until the summer of 2019. After that Jeremie Boga could be set for another loan straight-away with French Ligue 1 sides Girondin Bordeaux and Metz both keen on taking Boga to France for a spell.
