#LeBronJames was blindsided. This is how fans see Kyrie Irving's trade request last week. After what seemed as the best three seasons in Cleveland Cavaliers history, the dynamic duo are breaking up no thanks to #KyrieIrving. With this news, many teams have already made it known that they want to sign the services of Uncle Drew, including the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Last last week, ESPN's Brian Windhorst revealed that the Cavs point guard had requested a trade in an aim to make his star shine further. So far, Irving has been posting incredible numbers, with his highest PPG average at 25.2 last season.

However, he believes he can flourish better when he is the focal point of a team and not play second fiddle to the best player in the world, LeBron. This NBA trade report had shocked the league, including LBJ himself.

LeBron James 'devastated' with Kyrie Irving trade request

According to reports, King James had no idea his teammate had felt that way. The four-time MVP thought all the Kyrie Irving trade talks were mere baseless tittle tattle, that was until the front office confirmed the report to him. Windhorst confirmed that James was informed about Irving's request right after his meeting with the team. Talking to Pablo Torre on "Pardon the Interruption", the reporter revealed "LeBron was devastated."

"Certainly, they had their run-ins at times, but he felt an affection and an attachment to Kyrie," Windhorst revealed on the show.

"Really, LeBron thought they were going to come back together and try to beat the Warrior next year."

The report has added to what seems to be a terrible off-season for the 2017 Eastern Conference Champions. After losing Cavs GM David Griffin, James has grown frustrated with how the front office has been handling the team. There were even talks of a LeBron James, Lakers deal in 2018, but nothing has been confirmed.

With Kyrie's trade this summer, LeBron may very well be headed out the door after the 2017-18 NBA Season.

Kyrie Irving to Timberwolves?

Following the NBA trade buzz, many teams have already shown interest in acquiring the guard.

Jimmy Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns have made it clear to the Wolves management and to Kyrie that they want him on their team. With a young core of talents, Irving may very well fit in their mold. The three star athletes have also played together for USA Basketball so chemistry may not be a problem.

Should a Timberwolves, Cavaliers trade push through, it would involve Jeff Teague. Aside from the Wolves, other possible destinations for Irving would the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks. However, nothing has been confirmed, and the Kyrie Irving trade rumors will continue.
