Chelsea are reportedly close to stealing a stunning club record fee $84m swoop for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Still, in England, Liverpool are close to completing the signing of hull city left back Andrew Robertson, while Watford FC have completed the signing of Nathaniel Chalobah from Chelsea. Here's a full report of the latest transfer updates Making The Rounds.

Chelsea keen on signing Aubameyang

Chelsea are “desperate” to sign a new forward, with Diego Costa already on his way out of the Stamford Bridge outfit. Diego Costa has earlier been told he can freely quit Chelsea, despite playing a significant role in the Blues' title victory last season, and was reportedly granted permission to miss the club's preseason training last week Wednesday.

Now Chelsea has now turned their attention to Borussia Dortmund striker Aubameyang, who's willing to leave the Bundesliga outfit this transfer window. And according to Goal US, the $84million deal for the Gabon striker is almost close. Last season, Aubameyang scored forty goals and provided five assists in forty-six appearances to finish up above Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski in the German top flight league scoring chart.

Liverpool close in on Robertson

Liverpool are understood to have accepted an $10.3m deal with fellow EPL side Hull City for Andrew Robertson, according to the Guardian. The Reds boss Jürgen Klopp has been in the transfer market for a new left back to provide “competition” to James Milner, who stunningly impressed in the role last term, despite spending most of his soccer career as a central midfielder.

Andrew Robertson, 23, has been a “solid performer” for Hull City since arriving from Scottish Premier League side Dundee United in the summer of 2014. The Scotland International made 115 starts for Hull City over the past three-years, netting five times, and has been on the Red Merseysider's radar for quite some time now.

Chalobah signs five-year deal with Watford

Nathaniel Chalobah has signed a contract of five years with Watford and has joined the EPL club for an “undisclosed fee,” according to Standard News. The 22-year-old has played ninety-seven times for England at different youth-levels and played in the Three Lions U-21 team's run to the semifinal of the 2017 European Youth Championship last month.

Chalobah has now returned to Vicarage Road after previously spending the 2012/2013 season on loan, earning forty-two appearances and netting five times, as Watford lost the English Championship play off finals. Chalobah played fifteen times for Chelsea last term, ten in the Premier League, to earn an EPL winners medal as Chelsea “regained” the trophy. Before now, the English youngster has also spent time on loan at Napoli, Reading, Burnley, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest.
