On this episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, a combat of historic proportion inserted itself as two widely regarded wrestlers locked horns for the first time ever. The Beast Incarnate and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar returned to Monday Night RAW on June 12th to handle his advocate Paul Heyman’s unfortunate encounter with his opponent samoa joe from last week. The main event held featured the Hardy Boyz challenge the new Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro in a Two out of Three Falls Match.

The Beast and the Destroyer finally fight

Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman told the WWE Universe that he would unleash The Beast last night because Samoa Joe sent a disturbing message to Paul’s client by choking him out with the Coquina Clutch.

Paul advocates Lesnar’s usual, dominant prediction for his No.1 contender but Samoa Joe interrupted with brazen focus. Joe and Lesnar stared down but Joe fired the first shot with a headbutt, culminating into an all-out fight. Security guards couldn’t restrain them, so it took half of RAW’s locker room to separate the two. Joe got a straight kick into Lesnar before complete restraint, foreshadowing a battle of epic moments in four weeks’ time.

Dean Ambrose squared off against The Drifter Elias Samson again on RAW.

The match was quite physical given the number of clotheslines delivered to each other, only to have the Miz come out and distract Ambrose with his wife. Elias capitalized with a knee to a swinging neck-breaker for the victory. Noam Dar faced Cedric Alexander for less than a minute because of a rare yet odd FaceTime call from Noam’s girlfriend Alicia Fox took place.

Cedric hit his Lungblower to get the pinfall, hopefully moving on to the rest of WWE’s Cruiserweight division.

Women’s roster heats up and main event results

Alexa Bliss has a huge target on her back as most of the women’s division are strategizing on getting the title. Nia Jax reaffirmed her promised title match followed by Mickie James and Dana Brooke supporting her claim, and then Emma and Sasha Banks interrupting to claim the spotlight.

Sasha Banks, Mickie James, and Dana Brooke took on the returning Emma, Nia Jax and WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss in a Six Woman Tag Team match. Alexa, feeling that all the superstars are really against her in pursuit of her championship, walked out of the match. Sasha got the win for her team with the Bank Statement submission.

The Hardy Boyz looked to retain the RAW Tag Team Championships against Sheamus and Cesaro in a Two out of Three Falls Match. The titleholders got the first pinfall by Sheamus hitting a Brogue Kick to Jeff’s sternum. Matt Hardy secured the first win for his team with repeated turnbuckle slams on Cesaro’s head followed by a Twist of Fate. With both teams even, Jeff Hardy hit his Swanton Bomb finisher on Sheamus yet Cesaro pulled his partner out the ring. Another wild brawl came out the WWE arena resulting in a double count out, in which Sheamus and Cesaro retained their titles.
