Premier League champions Chelsea is on the brink of landing AS Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko after the defensive midfielder arrived in London for his medicals. Elsewhere, Sporting Lisbon has reportedly told Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City they can sign Adrien Silva this summer if they fork out $33m. Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor are in close talks with Liverpool FC about signing Lucas Leiva this summer. Here's a complete report of the latest transfers updates Making The Rounds:

Bakayoko set to finalize switch to Chelsea

Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to join EPL champions Chelsea in a deal worth a reported $44.7m and the 22-year-old midfielder arrival ultimately pave the way for Nemanja Matic to join Manchester United this summer.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is willing to “revamp” his team this summer despite winning the EPL title in his first season in charge.

The 22-year-old is seen as a more dynamic option in the midfield than Nemanja Matic, and Bakayoko could be set to “seal” a formidable partnership with compatriot N'Golo Kante. Bakayoko made forty-seven appearances for French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco the last term, scoring three goals and provided an assist, as they beat arch-rival PSG to the French Ligue 1 trophy.

But their championship winning squad is expected to be “gutted” this summer transfer window, with a host of their key players reportedly linked with offers around Europe. According to speculations from Metro, Tiemoue Bakayoko landed in London on Monday to complete his transfer to Chelsea FC.

Silva willing to depart Sporting this summer

Adrien Silva is ready to leave Sporting Lisbon in the coming months after almost securing a move away last year summer. Back then it was English club Leicester City who was chasing the 28-year-old midfielder, but a deal eventually broke down minutes before the transfer deadline.

The 28-year-old midfielder has a reported buy-out clause of around $50million but, according to Dailystar, Silva can leave for $33million this summer window.

Sporting Lisbon are finally ready to let their skipper go this summer window, and they believe that the transfer fee is a “fair price.” So far, Tottenham Hotspur has been heavily linked with the Portuguese midfielder this summer, and it is suggested the both parties may settle for $22.3million.

Trabzonspor close in on Lucas Leiva move

Lucas Leiva has been with Liverpool for ten years now but was only a bit part player last season, starting twelve matches in the EPL. The Brazilian has a year left on his current contract but could leave Anfield this summer if a club stumps up a fee of around $6.3million.

And, according to ReadLiverpool FC, Trabzonspor could be willing to do so. Trabzonspor are said to have made contact with Liverpool FC about a possible summer deal and talks are still ongoing. The Turkish Super Light side has even enlisted the help of Agent Ahmet Bulut in a bid to finalize the deal. However, there's fear that the Brazilian midfielder wage demands might be a stumbling block for the Turkish Super Lig club
