The wizards are playing well at home the whole series; they used the crowd to beat the Celtics 92 to 91. Game 6 was a thrilling game to the series. The Wizards were able to force a game seven behind both Bradley Beal and John Wall. Wall and Beal both had to carry the team on their backs because the bench did not help out much.
The bench must contribute more the next game, or the Wizards will be heading home. Game 6 was a close one, momentum shifting back and forth between both teams. It was a type of game that left someone at the end of their seat.
It is evident that the next game will be another thriller and a close game to see who will take all the marbles. The last game on Monday will be very interesting. The winner of the next game will advance to the Conference Finals. Can Wall and Beal defeat the Celtics? Can Wall leave a lasting legacy and be the hero of the Wizards?
The series has been gritty and exhilarating, to say the least. The question to ask is, do the Wizards have enough to beat the Celtics at home to advance to face the Cavaliers? Only time will tell.
John Wall's fight and passion
John Wall is a passionate player who fights to the last minute. Wall loved his city and gave it all tonight; it is possible he felt disrespected by the Celtics wearing all black before the game.
Either way, the team was going to come out with high energy with their backs against the wall.
Whether Wall is playing well or not, he does not give up at all. It was a tale of two halves for the all-star, who did not shoot well in the first half. Although he was not shooting the ball well in the first half, he was dishing the ball all around, giving opportunities to his teammates.
Wall got into his groove in the second half, driving to the rim and hitting some shots.
He turned on the jets and turned the game around in the second half to lead the Wizards past the Celtics to force a game seven that will define the series. Wall had 26 points, along with two rebounds and eight assists. Wall has been through a lot in his life, having surgery on both of his knees years ago.
The surgeries did not matter though because Wall bounced back strongly from it. I believe that Wall is underrated in the league, he shot a clutch ice cold three-pointer to help his team win. Wall came up clutch for the team. It will be another milestone in his career if he is able to win the next game to advance to the Conference Finals.
Bradley Beal's excellent performance
Beal led the Wizards with 33 points and five assists. He was a catalyst for the Wizards to force a Game 7 hitting a lot of shots and a clutch one in the fourth quarter that lowered the Celtics lead to only two points.
Although he was shooting the three poorly this game and the rest of the series, he was able to hit the clutch three to lower the lead.
I think that Beal has a lot of offensive talent and it showed tonight, as well as times in the series. They will need him to play well in game seven as well to have a chance to win and advance to the next round.
