Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen recently joined the ESPN set to discuss a few things in today's NBA. Scottie talked mainly about about LeBron James, and gave his opinion, and gave his opinion on King James and who he compares him to. Scottie had a long and successful career in the NBA, winning the coveted NBA championship trophy six times, playing in the all-star game seven times and being named to the All-NBA defensive first team, eight times. Scottie has a lot of knowledge about the NBA, and the legends that have graced the floor in the past, he decided to speak about it.

Kobe or LeBron?

Scottie Pippen was asked the question, 'has LeBron James surpassed Kobe Bryant', and Scottie held a strong opinion about it, saying "I don't think he has surpassed Kobe at all, no". But Pippen admits, it's hard to compare them, and in fact, we shouldn't be competing them. Scottie stated:

"I don't think he should be compared to either of those players (Kobe and Jordan) because they play different positions. Kobe and Michael are both two guards, they're both scorers... they're not looking to make plays for anybody on the floor, they're not looking to be a facilitator. That's the role that LeBron plays because he is such a dominant and powerful force and he's a great passer."

Well Scottie did give great compliment to the passing of King James and how much of a freak of nature he seems to be on the court.

Something that Pippen does admit the King does better than MJ or Bryant is to pass the ball and get his teammates involved, in order for his team to be successful.

Who does Scottie like to compare LeBron to?

Scottie Pippen didn't like comparing LeBron James to players such as Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, mainly due to their position and different way of playing the game, but there were some players that popped to mind when he was asked who he would honestly compare Bron Bron to.

Scottie said:

"I like to compare him to Magic, I think he plays a lot more like Magic, a lot more like myself, how I played". He made a huge statement, adding "obviously he's more dominant than both me and Magic because of the way he plays the game. His physicality, his athleticism surpasses Magic as well as me."

That's some huge words from the one great small forward to another.

Pippen believes The Chosen One is more dominant to the game of basketball and the NBA today, than magic johnson and himself were when they played.

Scottie continued to compliment LeBron's game, in comparison to other greats. Saying that LeBron runs a team like a point guard, something that Kobe or Jordan never had done. He also made fun of the situation by suggesting a coach would hate to see KB24 or MJ23 running the ball up the court, as they're not looking to pass the ball.

Scottie makes a lot of valid points, LeBron does compare to a player like himself and Magic not Kobe or Jordan, due to the way he plays the game and the position he plays.
