The NBA's Eastern Conference Finals series featuring the Cavaliers and Celtics resumes with Game 2 on Friday evening. The two teams clashed several days ago in Boston, but Cleveland was well rested and ready to roll. They did just that, to the tune of a 117-104 win in which LeBron James and Kevin Love went off for a top-notch performance. Along with Tristan Thompson, the three players combined for 90 points to help lead the team, as Kyrie Irving played a lesser role than usual. Here's a look at the upcoming Cavs vs. Celtics Game 2 preview including odds, game time, and how to watch it live on TV or online.

Game 2 preview

The first game of this series was a beatdown in Boston of epic proportions which has many fans wondering if the Celtics have a chance to win just one game. If they do, it may be with their fans at TD Garden cheering them on. They'll get that second opportunity tonight and could even the series at 1-1 before it heads to Cleveland for the next two games.

LeBron James had 38 points, nine boards, and seven assists in the win, while Kevin Love scored 32 points and grabbed 12 boards. 18 of Love's points came from his 6-for-9 three-point shooting rate. Add in Tristan Thompson's 20 points and nine boards, and the Cavs got big performances from players beyond LeBron and Kyrie. The Cavs shot 48.1 percent from the floor and outrebounded Boston by a 44-40 margin.

Boston got 21 points each from Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder in the first game, and a double-double of 17 points and 10 assists from floor general Isaiah Thomas. However, Cleveland got to the charity stripe about double the number of times as the home team and hit 28-of-35 free throws. Additionally, Cleveland managed to limit their turnovers to just eight while Boston had 14.

Look for Isaiah Thomas and the Boston Celtics to try to control the game tempo better and play a better defense on the Cavs in order to possibly steal Game 2. However, winning any game against the Cavs has been a tall task this postseason.

The odds for Game 2 will favor the Cleveland Cavs once again. As of this report, they are listed as five-point favorites to win in Boston, with a moneyline price of -230.

The Celtics are +195 underdogs, while the over/under points total for this game is currently at 219 points, per ESPN.
