The Nebraska Football team has been making some serious moves on the recruiting front over the past few weeks. The team has been rising to the top of several recruits' team rankings and it looks like one of Nebraska's most sought after defensive targets is among those loving the Huskers.

The news that Brendan Radley-Hiles has talked about his love of the Nebraska football team is good for a team that has already gotten the same sort of love from its top running back and quarterback targets. In total, the man better known as Bookie would help make the 2018 class one of the best in a long time.

Nebraska football and Bookie

Radley-Hiles has long talked about how much he likes the program that Mike Riley and company have put together. He visited Nebraska for the spring of 2016 and he has come to Lincoln a couple of other times in the last year. Bookie has been quite vocal on social media about how much he likes the Huskers football program but he's being pursued by some of the best teams in the country. The Cornhuskers are hoping he'll settle on them because he's the sixth-ranked cornerback in the 2018 recruiting class. He's also the seventh-ranked player in the state of Florida for the 2018 class.

Stiff competition for the Nebraska football team

While Radley-Hiles clearly has some affection for the Huskers, there are other top flight teams that are going hard after the four-star cornerback.

In addition to the Nebraska football team, Notre Dame, USC, and Florida appear to be the biggest suitors for Bookie's services.

While 247 Sports recently showed the Huskers as the clear favorite when it comes to getting Radley-Hiles' services, the recruiting season is a long way from being over. The coaching staff is looking to get the star player into Lincoln for at least one more visit before he pulls the trigger on a commitment.

That could mean bringing him in for this year's spring game. It seems that at some point, these commits are going to start rolling in. That could be all the chain reaction the program needs for a top flight 2018 class.
