Goran Dragic has been one of the best point guards in the NBA this season and his efficiency is incredible. He is one of the biggest reasons for the amazing turnaround the Miami Heat have achieved and he has been very consistent all season long. However, his numbers have looked relatively bad lately as he averaged only 15.6 points per game on 35.7 percent shooting. The 30-year-old guard hasn't looked the same and it was revealed that he's been dealing with a foot Injury.

Dragic will keep playing with the injury

Even though the foot injury is affecting his play, Goran Dragic will keep playing through it and help the Heat make a playoff push.

The Miami Heat are currently the eighth seed in the conference, but they are just half a game away from dropping out of playoff picture. With nine games left in the season, it is going to be a tough challenge for Miami and Dragic, as they will face some really good teams. The Heat have two games to play against the Washington Wizards, one against the Toronto Raptors, and one against defending champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Miami Heat training staff has been cutting a hole in Dragic's shoe to help him play through his injury, but this is not a long-term solution for the problem. If anything, playing through the injury can just make things worse, and it is uncertain whether Goran Dragic can recover before the playoffs start.

Injuries are Miami Heat's worst enemy

A few weeks ago, the Miami Heat lost Dion Waiters to an ankle injury and they haven't been the same team since then. Waiters, as it turned out, is one of the key pieces of the team, and the Heat haven't played well without him. Shortly after Waiters' injury, Hassan Whiteside cut his hand, but he decided to play through it.

However, he suffered an ankle injury in the very next game. Even though Whiteside is still active and will play for the Heat, he cannot give his best effort since he is limited by the injuries.

The Heat cannot afford to lose Goran Dragic, but it's also a bad idea to let him play while he is injured. They are stuck in a lose-lose situation at a crucial point of the season. Miami will have a difficult task of making the playoffs with so many injured players.
