This year's "Royal Rumble" event saw the late bookmaker's favorite, Randy Orton, book his slot for the main event of Wrestlemania by defeating 29 other men to win the 2017 Royal Rumble match, in somewhat of a shock victory. John Cena also made history at this year's event by becoming a 16-time WWE champion by defeating "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles in a match for the ages. With several feuds developing at the event in Texas, we now have a better idea of Vince McMahon and the WWE's plans for "Wrestlemania 33." Here is a list of the predicted bouts for this year's Wrestlemania event.

WWE Championship - John Cena (C) vs Randy Orton

With Cena claiming his 16th WWE championship at the "Royal Rumble," and Orton winning the "Royal Rumble" match itself, it now looks likely that a title match between the two long-time foes is in the works for the main event of this year's Wrestlemania. Cena and Orton are both currently on the Smackdown brand and have a long history together. Starting in the WWE at roughly the same time and enduring several rivalries throughout both of their glittering careers. Both men are also two of the WWE roster's most household names. With Cena being one of the WWE's top draws over the last decade and Orton having recent mainstream notoriety with his viral "outta nowhere" videos and vines, McMahon could see these two as the perfect duo to gather interest from the more casual WWE fans for the 'grandest stage of them all."

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg

Goldberg made his return to the WWE ring at "Survivor Series" last November, shocking the WWE universe when he pinned the seemingly unbeatable Brock Lesnar in just one minute and 24 seconds.

The two met face to face again during this year's "Royal Rumble" match, with "The Beast" looking to seek revenge on Goldberg for last year's humiliation. However, yet again it was Goldberg who claimed the upset, eliminating Lesnar quickly upon arrival. Goldberg remains the only man who Lesnar has not defeated throughout his career, and a "Wrestlemania" rematch looks almost a certainty now for the two behemoths this April.

The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns

The Undertaker was one of the favourite's to win the 2017 "Royal Rumble" match which took place in his native Texas. However, after a dominant start, the polarizing Roman Reigns eliminated "The Deadman," drawing an eerie exchange between the two WWE superstars as they stared each other down. It's no secret that Vince McMahon is hot on Reigns and a "Wrestlemania" match with The Undertaker could help to elevate the former Shield member's spotlight.

WWE Universal Championship - Kevin Owens (C) vs. Chris Jericho

With Roman Reigns looking likely to meet The Undertaker at "Wrestlemania 33," Kevin Owens now has no noteworthy adversaries to challenge him for his Universal championship belt. Owens and Jericho have deemed themselves as best friends over the last several months, and although nothing from the "Royal Rumble" suggested a change in this narrative, a fall-out between the pair leading to a "Wrestlemania" bout still seems the most likely. Despite being portrayed as a heel, Jericho has become somewhat of a fan favorite of late and a rivalry against his fellow Canadian Owen's should prove to be a real crowd pleaser.

Triple H vs. Seth Rollins

Triple H ended his association with Seth Rollins in dramatic fashion last year when he turned on his former fellow "Authority" member, costing him the WWE Universal championship. "The Game" then seemingly cost Rollins his place in the "Royal Rumble" match last week when his entrance music hit, distracting Rollins enough for Sami Zayn to get the roll-up. Triple H against Rollins tells the tale of a student seeking revenge on his master, and as the rivalry continues to heat up, a "Wrestlemania 33" match between the pair is almost a certainty.
